Joyce is a facilitator, executive coach, instructional designer and curriculum developer with hands-on knowledge in Organisational Development, Human Capital Development and Programme Design functions. Accredited by the Canadian Council of Professional Certification, she has been recognised as a highly engaging and inspiring executive and career coach in helping professionals excel at their workplace and manage their career transitions.
With solid regional and international exposure in areas of programme development, organisational improvement and training delivery, Joyce is a very dynamic, resourceful and savvy professional who has successfully delivered many key change management and skills enhancement projects for several brand name organisations across the region. Her corporate experience includes many illustrious years with oil & gas giant, PETRONAS, followed by the Asian Institute of Finance which comes under the purview of Bank Negara Malaysia and Securities Commission, as well as Maybank and Malaysian International Shipping Corporation (MISC).
While at Maybank and MISC, Joyce formulated learning interventions to enhance performance improvement. She also developed long-term strategies and key initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of service excellence and employee engagement. In her years in Change Management, Joyce led organisational development and provided consultancy by skilful implementation of industry specific solutions.
Joyce had a brush with reality and humanity when she was selected as the sole executive PETRONAS Groupwide to represent PETRONAS as a brand ambassador and endured harsh and challenging environment while traversing the Saharan desert through the PETRONAS 4-WheelDrive Trans Sahara Expedition to North Africa. She is an accomplished debater, representing Malaysia in many international debating competitions around the world.
In 2017 and 2019, Joyce received the Best Global Training and Development Leadership Award awarded by the World HRD Congress. The award was given in recognition of the strategic and iconic position held in the fraternity. She was shortlisted from professionals across the globe in recognition of her contribution towards learning and development.
