Gerard Kho is a multi-disciplinary, multi-industry change leader with extensive experience across various online and offline industries. With 18 years of international working experience being exposed to markets in South East Asia and Australia, he brings with him regional insights back to Malaysia in 2008.
Currently, he holds 2 hats in the digital entertainment industry and education industry. In the entertainment industry, he focuses on improving the financial capital for accelerated growth; intense fundraising initiatives, cost rationalisation, revenue generation and human resource allocation of 250 people team in 10 South East Asian countries. On the other hand, in the education industry portfolio, he is involved in culture change and developing a framework to monetise and commercialise education opportunities in preparation of regional expansion.
Gerard has had many experiences in driving change in organisations. One of his involvements is to transform them to be an inclusive developer and city builder through developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives with state, federal and intentional government agencies through Public-Private Partnerships.
The other involvements he had were growing and doubling revenue of a online property portal in 2 years to bring it to become one of the top 2 in ranking. In order for success to happen, he brought alignment to the real estate agents and property developers on how to advertise well in the everchanging journey consumers’ property search.
Gerard Kho has a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership specialising in foresight, with degrees in law, commerce and medical science.
