Ang Ming Ern has had extensive and diverse experience for the last 7 years in the Learning and Development domain, working across various management levels and in a variety of learning applications. He was also involved in sales and marketing functions including event management and has consulted foreign and local multinationals on projects.
He has implemented diverse learning solutions for management training, training content development and HR solutions for DHL Asia Pacific, Astro, Petronas, MISC and member companies of Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI). He was the main representative for Learning Performance Seminars, an Australian/UK training organisation specialising in cognitive teaching and learning skills and the largest service provider to educational institutions in the UK.
Ming Ern worked with Microsoft in helping to develop and execute marketing strategies to build the retail market in Malaysia, including project managing marketing events, promotions and campaigns. He has also been a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers providing consulting services on business and IT operations to KLSE companies and foreign multinationals (Sony, Genting, Avon, Proton, KLSE, Carlsberg and British American Tobacco). As an Instructional Designer and Trainer for EmpowerU programmes, he is actively involved in teaching and training at corporate and public levels.
His passion lies in the areas of developing leadership, service mind-sets, and communications through creative learning and teaching methodologies. He is a recognised facilitator with Focus on the Family, and has worked with young people on leadership and self-development for over 10 years. Ming Ern also has direct equity in several businesses from sales and marketing programmes to organising and managing events.
Ming Ern has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Curtin University, Australia and is an associate member of Australian CPA. He is married and loves to tinker around with computers in his spare time.
