Aaron Tang is the General Manager for APAC of Luno, a bitcoin-related company headquartered in London. Previously, he was the Marketing & Community Lead in Malaysia which helps to educate Malaysia about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies
He has held a variety of operations and management roles in the Oil & Gas sector over the past nine years. Aaron is also an established blogger with an international following. You can find his writings at publications like The Huffington Post, The Good Men Project, Business Insider, Thought Catalog, The Malaysian Insider, SAYS, iMoney and Vulcan Post.
Aaron also had experience empowering youths as a Campus and Digital Marketing Advisor at Leaderonomics. He has helped undergraduates (& recent graduates) bridge the gap to working life. Apart from that, he helped undergraduates (& recent graduates) become better versions of themselves. He also expanded Leaderonomics.com’s audience via content marketing and social media.
Aaron began his career at PETRONAS, working in operations and logistics. Following that, he spent seven years at Weatherford Asia Pacific in the following roles: graduate trainee, support engineer, operations coordinator, and regional product line manager. In his last position, he headed a team of 21 people, generating yearly revenues of more than 10 million USD.
