Day 1: Foundations & Principles

Overview of mental health, ethical foundations, and the "Helping Hats" exercise.

Module 2: Recognising Mental Health Challenges

Identifying early warning signs, risk factors, and the "Subtle Signs Game".

Module 3: PFA Principles

3L Principle, Active listening skills, Emotional support techniques, and Peer Support Pairs.

Module 4: Practical Case Study Reviews

Workplace case studies and practising decision-making and referral judgement.

Day 2: Application & Crisis Management

Module 5: Communication Strategies

Initiating supportive conversations, reducing defensiveness, and the "Word Choice Lab".

Module 6: Crisis Scenario Exercise

Responding calmly to crisis situations and applying PFA skills in high-pressure scenarios.
