Dr Alex, is the founding Director of IRS Training SB (Infor Resources System Sdn Bhd). He is the first independent consultant in Malaysia to be accredited for all of Dr Edward de Bono Thinking Systems Courses in Malaysia, and is the authorised and officially accredited instructor for Six Thinking Hats® Method, Lateral Thinking ApplicationsTM, SimplicityTM and Power of PerceptionTM (PoP – fka DATT). He is authorised to use the instructional manuals, which constitutes the only set of application material authorised by Dr de Bono. He is acknowledged as an active and successful de Bono instructor in Malaysia by the Master Trainers of Edward de Bono Thinking Methods for Asia, and initiated the Creative User Circle (Malaysia) – CUC, a network to pool all de Bono’s graduates together and to promote and share creativity among the individuals and corporations. 

Dr. Alex obtained his Phd in Extension Education (Training Management), holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) and is an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Secretary & Administrators (ACIS), UK. He is equipped to deliver Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Certificate IV in Human Resource , Certificate IV in Frontline Management and Diploma in Training and Assessment System, qualification accredited by Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). In addition, he is able to deliver accredited workplace training and assessment in Retail Operations and Management. 

Dr. Alex has more than 21 years of extensive Training and Consulting experience in designing and developing courses in the field of Creativity & Innovative Thinking, Human Resource Development and Competency Learning. Competency Based Training & Education is yet another approach he uses in conducting his training programmes. Being one of the pioneers of competency based consultant in Malaysia, he developed his own IRS’s Competency Model through his researches and is a certified assessor by the Department of Skills Development.
