Timothy Hor has 25 years of experience in the internet and technology business in Asia. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana and a Masters in Technical and Scientific Communication from Miami University
From marketing at Cap Gemini Asia, raising venture capital funding for Asia’s first rich thin-client start-up, and leading JobsDB.com to compete with Jobstreet.com in SE Asia to scaling iProperty.com to its dominant position, Tim has two and a half decades of ‘real-world’ business and entrepreneurial experience. He also led the digital transformation of the largest newsprint media company in Malaysia and turned around a pre-paid mobile platform in Indonesia. Currently, he engages and add values to the start-up community in Brisbane at The River City Labs and QUT Foundry.
His purpose lies in adding value to every relationship formed, to lead with trust, respect, humility and accountability and to lead an organization or team to exploit the strength of its existing business models by leveraging on digital and mobile technologies and social media eco-systems. Timothy believes in creating disruptive and sustainable businesses that will deliver compelling customer-consumer engagement to drive deep brand equity and loyalty.
